8. Bag-56sn contains 56% silver and is made of silver, copper, zinc and tin alloys. The national standards bag56cuznsn and hl321 are equivalent to AWS bag-7. Tin is used instead of cadmium and the melting point is low. Because the solder is non-toxic, it is especially suitable for brazing of food equipment.
